Westhampton Blacksmith Shop Museum

This museum has something for everyone.  The front room is an authentic 19th-century blacksmith shop, filled with tools of that trade and displays of carpentry, leather-working and tinsmithing tools.

The next room houses the only Loudville Lead Mine exhibit in existence where visitors can view maps and sketches of the various mining operations in Loudville over three centuries.

The kitchen room features woodenware and tinware food preparation implements of the 19th century.  Relax at the large kitchen table and browse through our extensive photograph and scrapbook collections.

Plows, horse buggies, and large agricultural implements such as corn grinders are on view in the adjacent barn.

Handicapped Accessible: Yes, but our porta-potty is not!
