HISTORY

Delap Real Estate was founded in 2005 by Dennis Delap.  Dennis was well-known, well-reputed and well-loved in the real estate business since 1986.  Dennis’  own vision was of a cooperative office, gathering the best and most competent, experienced realtors to measure up to his very high standard of client service.  He wanted every buyer or seller to be assured that they were working with an agent who could be trusted completely, to handle all aspects of buying and selling with the utmost expertise.

COOPERATIVE OFFICE

Within the office, we are a family, every agent supporting and helping each other.  Delap Real Estate is now owned and managed by a partnership of associate brokers, comprising top agents hand-picked by Dennis. We continue to carry out his vision.  As a cooperative office, we all have a stake in each other’s success.  Our form of profit-sharing means that if one associate has an extra-successful month, we all benefit, and this supports our family spirit.

As we grow and fresh new faces appear on our roster, each new agent is assigned an experienced “mentor” to learn from and work closely with.  This means every client receives the benefit of our 200+ years of combined experience—no client is ever working with a “rookie,” so each transaction is carried out with seasoned expertise, market knowledge, and “people skills.”
