Blandford

In peaceful Blandford Massachusetts, abandoned farmlands have transformed into forests of beech, maple, hemlock, pine and oak, such as the Chester-Blandford State Forest. The Little River runs through Blandford, a tributary of the mighty Westfield River.

All of the town except for its southwest corner is part of the Westfield River watershed, although the river itself passes north and east of town. The southwest corner of Blandford drains via Otis Reservoir to the Farmington River, which like the Westfield, is a tributary of the Connecticut River.
