Canterbury Farm

Canterbury Farm, located in the beautiful Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts, is open to the public and offers fun for the whole family with skiing, skating, snowshoeing,, skating, snowshoeing, rentals, kayaks and food. We offer bed-and-breakfast lodging in our guest rooms, and glamping in our trailside cabin. Display gardens and Music in the Garden events are also located on this historic site. 

Our Bed and Breakfast rooms mix the old historic decor with the new amenities you have come to expect. Food choices for breakfast and lunch include everything from New England favorites to vegetarian selections primarily grown from local sources.

The Winter brings warm fires in the den, hot chocolate, and comfortable rooms after an exciting day skiing. Our caring staff and instructors will fit you into the best top of the line equipment. This equipment is interchangeable for one low price. We pay attention to detail in providing you with the best ski conditions; we groom daily and will always give you an honest ski report.

In the summer and fall you can hike, bike, swim and enjoy our gardens on site. A number of music events, garden tours, and foliage hikes like Trail Hub take place throughout the warmer months. Bring your bikes and rent our kayaks to enjoy the nearby State Parks. October State Forest and three lakes are within two miles of Canterbury Farm.

There is so much to do in Becket and the Berkshires. Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, numerous summer camps, Tanglewood, Theatre, and Concerts are all within a short drive. Yet when you come back to Canterbury Farm to stay or just to visit for the day, listen to the birds and relax on our deck watching nature in its glory.
