Welcome to Hanging Mountain Farms!

Have Breakfast & Lunch in our unique Strawbale Cafe.
Wed-Sat 8AM-2PM, Sun 8AM-1:30PM.

Our Strawbale Cafe and Ice Cream parlor is now open, and our breakfast & lunch is served until 2 pm. The grill closes at 2 pm, but cold sandwiches, pie, snacks, and of course ice cream is available until closing. Cones or sundaes, with our homemade hot fudge is a real treat. Summer hours for both are, Tuesday through Friday from 7 am to 5 pm, Sat & Sun 6 am to 8 pm. with extended hours on Friday's until 8 pm, so you can enjoy our homemade Snow's ice cream. We are closed on Monday's.

We are located in Westhampton, close to the Berkshires. We are the Aloisi family, second generation syrup producers, the tradition starting in the 1940's. We are open to the public and invite you to stop by for a tour and to take home some maple syrup to enjoy over and over again.

Our sugar season runs from the end of February to the beginning of April. Hours of operation during the season are on Wed, Sat, & Sun from 12 Noon to 5:00 PM. Other times are also available, but are dependent on the weather, so call ahead. Call us to see if we are boiling on the day you would like to come out for a visit. We will be open weekends, starting March 12th from 11 AM to 5 PM. Come and enjoy a muffin or doughnut, with a hot cup of JAVA HUT Coffee, or hot chocolate on us.

Take a tour of our exciting post & beam strawbale barn. We hope you will come and enjoy the warmth and coziness of this great new barn, and learn about this unique alternative building style.
